Should I go to Sardinia?

My friend has the house all by herself...for some days while the family she works for is out (she works as an aupair). So she tells me to come and I don't need to pay for house and food, which sounds great.
but i have to cancel work and miss classes from school. and i just started my new job...it's not very good to just say that I'm travelling so I can't come to work.

But then again, this is a once in a lifetime chance. Sardinia!!!!!!!

My new bag!!!

My chose was between a Mulberry dark brown Bayswater or a Louis Vuitton Speedy.
The Mulberry was awesome, I was considering to buy it but then I thought, I'm young and energetic. The Louis Vuitton seems more glamourous than the Mulberry one which is, to be honest, quite dull. I can buy Mulberry when I start working. While right now as a student I fit in LV more, I can also use it on parties, etc. Also Mulberry is not very famous in China, while LV is.

So my first designer bag is a Louis Vuitton Speedy ^^

But THIS bag will mean hard work for me. I have promised myself to be amazingly HEALTHY this fall semester, going to buy a gym card tomorrow and live there this weekend, because I really have gained some weight (as you see in the picture!!! look at my belly, can't wait to the countless sweaty spinning classes and thaiboxing classes ahead of me). Also, I bought a voice recorder in China that I'm going to use every class, and then on weekends I'm going to sit at home studying and listening to the teacher once again from my voice recorder. On weekdays I'm all busy with uni classes, shopping, eating lunch with friends, working and gym, so on the weekends it's all about STUDYING.
I want good grades although it is not as important for me as I have shitload of working experience by now, but still. Being even more attractive on the employment market is not a bad thing! :)  Good luck to me.   Work Hard Play Hard

My new job

Stress

Everyday this week from 4 pm until 9pm we have education classes about bonds and structural products, stocks, etc. Because my main tasks at this new job is to sell those to our customers.
I still wonder if I should keep my old job, I earned better at it because of commision, but this new company is better and much more wellknown. Maybe combine those together...
Hmmm, if I work 20 hours a week it means I will earn shitload of money which is a nice thought, but then again, I want a good grade in my Statistics course.
Anyway, on thursday I'm going to buy a Louis Vuitton Speedy, not the one with logo but another one with checked patterns, it's more classy than the tacky logo one that all Shanghai sluts wear.

I guess it just wasn't meant to be

Diary

(OK, on monday I'm going on a diet!!! Only 3 spoons of nutella each day! I have noticed that my face is getting fuller and fuller which is not good.)

Seriously, on Östermalm (Stockholm's Nanjing Xi Road) there are some REAL bargains, not like Shanghai. I think it's easier to fool brandcrazy Chinese people. In one store I found miu miu shoes costing 500 kr ( about the same in rmb), they were 3000 kr before. My friend bought a pair of yellow ballerinas from Lanvin which costed 6000 kr before, and now they cost 500kr. That is INCREDIBLE!!! No wonder all the asians are acting crazy in those stores. I went into Louis Vuitton and there were so many people there, I could hardly walk inside.
In Sweden, I only buy brand clothes, because it's MUCH cheaper here in Europe than in Asia. Also there are better sales, in Shanghai it's still only 40% in most of the places,I have never seen 70-75% in Plaza66, here in Sweden it is.
When I was 14 I walked for the first time on Nanjing Xi Road and saw Plaza66, I still remember how overwhelmed I was, wondering if I would ever in my life be able to buy those nice things inside, and now I can. Weird feeling huh?

My First designer bag

I always thought I would buy a Mulberry, but nope.  I'm going to buy Chloe Heloise Beige Patent Leather Tote.
70% off so I'm going to buy it! The bag in China cost 9500 rmb in Citiq Square even after sale which is SICK, and here in Sweden it's a much better price.
I will buy the beige one.

Can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!

I suck

Remember my shopping celibacy? HAHA, well. I got the job I wanted at this Swedish bank and am SOOOO happy!!! I deserve nice things. Today meeting my friends for a chocolate cake in downtown Stockholm I saw the Chanel 2.55 my friend had bought in New York! 25oo dollars it costed. A black medium bag with gold chains. And she wears it so well because she is so petite.    Jealousy.
But I bet that she is jealous of my fur vest, mwahahahaha!!!

Anyway, I saw this miniskirt made of black leather, it was on 75% sale. I think I will buy it.... and I need to buy a designer bag to fit my new job. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

If you miss Shanghai you should read this book, My Favourite Wife by Tony Parsons
I read it in one day, and missed a couple of subway stations during reading it. I would not say the book itself is excellent, but it's enjoyable. And also a great way to find out what's really going on in this fantastic city. As girls in Shanghai we are not able to experience some things that guy experience in clubs, etc. I have some guy friends who told me stories about prostitution that is going on in clubs and I cannot believe it, but we all know it is true.
Also, there's one sentence I remember from this book and is when the wife says " it's the city, it brings out the worst of people."
And I can fully agree, Shanghai is not a good place to live after marriage.

I'm going to turn celibate for a while

I have been thinking, I should really become a celibate, I mean a shopping celibate. I spent way too much money in Shanghai and I feel really bad about it now. So I have decided, I'm not going to shop any unnecessary material things til December. I will give my best shot! I can only buy toothpaste and new toothbrush, things I really need. I will also cut down the restaurant visits this semester in uni. I will buy a gymcard though! That's all. Do you think I can make it?
I'm doing this to 1, save money 2, understand that you don't need to spend in order to be happy 3, focus on other things instead of thinking of what to buy.
Please wish me luck! I wil do this until December, and what will I do with the money? I will either renovate my apartment in Shanghai OR I will buy a designer bag (and then save the rest). Hmmmm OR I will invest it in my business plan that I have in mind, but that's confidential so far :)

Remembering the last night

My Last night in Shanghai I had a huge fight with my aunt because she didn' want me to go out for the night, but come one. It was my last night in Shanghai for this year, the whole day I had not been in the downtown area, so I really wanted to see the neon lights and the tall buildings.
So I took a taxi to City Plaza and walked over to Portmans to meet a friend. Ended up me eating wontons next to Logo and then home to sleep.

The Health result after being in SH

Surprisingly I've only gained about 1 to 1,5 kg's in Shanghai....... from that day I left Sweden, but the reason to why I think I have gained more is because I lost about 2-3 kg's in the beginning when I was in SH, then I gained those 3-4 kg's back.
But I did gain 3,5 % body fat, because I skipped going to the gym. So I have been losing muscles and gained fat.
BUT, as the irst real day in Stockholm Im going to the supermarket and buy milk ( swedish milk is the best), Hushållscheese (best cheese in the world), and sweeeedish bread, and swedish chips Estrella or OLW, and Swedish candyyyy/chocolate Mmmmmmmmmmmm, can't wait. going to fika with a friend soon and then after it I plan to buy all those good stuff and eat and sort out my room with all my new things.
THEN Im starting on my gym sessions again and lose everything that I have gained! PROMISE!

HOME (?)

Arrived in my apartment around 9pm Swedish time, 3 am China time. NICE, so good to live in my dormitory room. I feel like my head is hurting, hope it gets over.
It was a 12-13 hours flight to Zurich but it went quickly, party because my seatpartner was great, she lives in Paris and works with her own accessory line, she said if I come to Paris in end of September (Annual Fashion Weeks) she could invite me to a fashionshow associated to a fashion company in Beijing. Isn't that great???
I got a good seat, just in the first front, just behind Business Class with big space for my feet. I watched a french movie about golddiggers, Maid of Honor, What happens in Vegas and Kung Fu Panda (half of it). Seriously, have you seen Kung Fu Panda, it must be the most hilarious movie I have ever seen, it is so hysterically funny!!!!!!
When I got to Stockholm I thought they were kidding with me, I had to walk stairs made of wood  with my luggage, they did not have an escalator!!!!!!!!! I'm in this well developed country and the airport (arrival part o Arlanda Airport) looks like it's taken from the 70's.....sighs.

At the airport new Terminal 2

The new Terminal 2 is awesome!!! Im sitting by Burger King enjoying free wifi and having an unhealthy Hershey pie (it's awesome).
Anyway, a 13 hours flight is waiting for me, then 2 more hours waiting in Zurich, then a 2-3 hours flight to Sweden...

hope there are good movies to watch, My last night in Shanghai I went to Portman's element fresh --- Malones for 5 minutes --- Volar (free watermelon grey goose drinks) --- Logo --- home
slept for about less than 3 hours and now I'm all energetic after this chocolate...hmmmm

Leaving Shanghai

Today it's my last day of my Shanghai trip, this early morning I went to sing Karaoke with my cousin for a few hours, now I'm almost done with packing...and there are sooo many things to do but so little time!!! But I'm so lazy, right now just lying on my bed and dont want to go out in the heat.
Makes me crazy, but I think I will go out tonight, hehe...

The dinner my relatives prepared for me with my favourite dishes such as Lotus roots, Yu Xiang Rou Si, fried aubergine in garlic and soysauce, etc.

My new style

Today I went to the BEST place for Chinese young people, it's called Xing Xi Gong, and it is on Wuning/ Dongxin Road. You can bling your phone there, take cute pictures, buy clothes, do manicures, etc.
I bought grey contact lenses and extensions, and did french manicure! I'm so satisfied with my new contacts!!! Have a look! My eyes get a lot bigger!
I have facial hair problem (as you can see) so next time I come to Shanghai for a longer period of time I'm going to use laser to make them all disappear! Who wants a hairy face?

Evian water bottle made of glass designed by famous Christian Lacroix.

Price? 98 rmb!

Beautiful!
Spotted at City Plaza in Jingansi, favourite supermarket in whole Shanghai!

I am a bit late as I'm in SH so I have no time to read carefully the newspapers to know what's going on in the world....but I do know that the next cool star is Katy Perry, and she is certainly awesome! Of course I also know about the situation in Georgia :(

Fabric market

So....The trenchcoat was in a colour I did not expect, the colour doesn't fit my skin colour!!! The dress' model is a bit different as I thought but still cool, and the skirt is also disappointing, but the suitjacket and the shirt I'm very satisfied with.

Never trust Chinese hairdressers

So I decided to cut my hair. and i did so in City Plaza 4th floor, and I paid swedish price for my haircut so I could get it cut by the senior hairstylist.  And now my hair looks like 500000000 other chinese girls' hair.

Fcuk!!!
seriously, never let a chinese hairdresser do anything to your hair EXCEPT if you are just going to cut the length, but never let him do layers or stuff like that. GAAAAAH, im so pissed. It only looks good when I go to the hairdresser and make them blow my hair..

WOOOOOOOOOOW

Everyone who doesn't agree with me that it was the best Opening ceremony for the Olympic Games deserve a spanking!

BECAUSE it was the BEST Opening Ceremony!!!!!!!!!!!!! No one can top that off, how is one other nation going to top off a nation who has a 5000 years old history and who is yet again going to live up to reputation of being the Middle Kingdom??????

Going to buy a new suitcase as soon as possible and then see if I can manage to stuff all the good things I want to bring back, yet again I will have to leave some things here in China...my mother is coming in October so then she can help me to bring back some of my things...

I need to go to the fabric market and get a suit made...and that need to also fit in my suitcase :(

- Hello Kitty bathroom rug
- Hello Kitty dirty clothes basket
- All underwear I have bought here

Here I come Nanjing

Another city in China to check off my lists :)
Going with the train to Nanjing soon, staying til Saturday night. So an express trip.
God, I feel absolutely disgusted after last nights teppanyaki, I actually miss my own cooked meals in Sweden...

update:  Pictures will come, PLENTY of them. Nanjing was a bit dirty, and the weather was quite horrible but chilly, took some great photos though and I have some funny stories to tell :D
