I know Sweden is out of Eurocup, but still I want to remember everyone's smiles and screams when Sweden won against Greece on 11th June 2008.Labels: Party

I watched it last night.Eeven with the bad quality of the DVD I enjoyed every single second of that movie. It was extremely good! There were so many funny parts that I laughed out loud, and then in the end I cried sooooooooo much. When she flips through her email and found the letters, Oh My God, I was crying like a baby watching that scene.Labels: Food

She just said I look like a 30 year plus old woman who have had 2-3 kids but in fact I'm just 20. CRAZY. She hates the way I dress, and keep saying that I should dress like her daughter, my cousin. And wear backpacks. She says people who wear handbags are people who have had kids.
What I like so much about Shanghai is that you will meet so many fascinating people here. I have been here for exactly one week now and I have already met some very cool people. Brave people who have suddenly decided to give China a chance, or people with very interesting backgrounds ( for an example, a furniture and interior designer who has chinese blood but born in another asian country and whom her parents also are born in other asian countries, a fashiondesigner for a brand in the mall next to Taiping yang on huaihai road, a countryside girl who is working at the local hair salon, etc.)Labels: Shanghai things

Yesterday I went to Yongqi to do a one-hour-massage. It was soo funny, first the girl asked me where I was from, I said I'm from dongbei (northeast) and she asked what place, I said Dalian, she didn't believe me. Then later when she was massaging my left arm she said in a such a surprising way: Waaaah, you have so much meat (fat)!!Labels: Shanghai things
In one week I have made two local friends :D
The BEST place for girls and women here in Shanghai is not the spas, nor the clubs where they have ladies nights. I think it is Zhong Shan Park's metrostation. Go ahead to exit 4-6, you will be walking under a white tunnel, keep walking til you find lots of small shops. You will find really really nice shoes for under 100 rmb and some very fashionable clothes, you need to search! Also besides all these cool female clothing shops, there are also smoothie bars, dim sum bars, sushi bars, etc and for a very good price. I ordered a mango and carrot smoothie for 8 rmb, and you see them making it. And if you wanted manicure you can get that as well for a good price.
Because my cousin's wife works in Jinmao building, I don't need to pay for a gym membership :) I will gym at Will's Gym in both Jinmao building and the Zhongshan Park area.Labels: Others

Well, I wouldn't call it stressful but I did a lot yesterday! Day started with my aunt taking me and my cousin out for breakfast (more like lunch) in our neighbourhood, finally I had Mandarin Fish and my favourite dish, corn cake!!! After the breakfast I went out with my other aunt to shopping, we were shopping along the walking path to Zhongshan Park, we separated there. I checked out Will's gym to see how the facility look like, pretty good actually. Think I will join that gym. I later went with the metro to Huaihai Road, checked out some stores and then later went to visit California Fitness, cool gym but too expensive, and the location is not that great concerning my route to and from internship this summer. My dinner consisted of this small pie from McDonalds, supergood!! The McDonalds here in China is MUCH better than the Swedish one, both more well-prepared and better quality. Yum!!! The day ended with me buying a pair of cool Nike gym pants and a men's Tshirt from Uniqlo (Henru Chu design). Later in the evening, I went to Captain Hostel to see one of my good friends who lives here but will leave in 2 weeks :( later we went to Lounge 18, pretty nice and soft, love the decor and they know how to make good drinks compared to Captain Hostel. The Campari Orange in CH is absolutely worthless, although Lounge 18 didn't make the caprinia the way I really like it, but at least they put lots of alcohol in it. After Lounge 18 we took the elevator to Bar Rouge, I think it was a White and Yellow trash party going on there, don't go there on Sundays. After 10 minutes we left for Logo, much more ppl there, some kind of reggae night. Then sleep.Labels: Shanghai things
Yes, I really do. Some people may find them way too ON, asking you questions, bothering you with all the choices. Yes, they do, but so what?Labels: Food
