I think you're here when most of the students have gone, and they're more likely to go out on a Tuesday night than us working folk.
Also the Olympics probably means that the sports bars (Spot, Bamboo, Malones etc.) are busier than anywhere else.
Not sure if you've been to Vue bar at the top of the new Hyatt on the Bund yet, but think you'd like it. Xin Da Lu Chinese restaurant downstairs is great too.
It's quiet because there's some kind of sporting event at the moment in Beijing. It should be over in a few weeks.
Wow, saw you last night at the Bulldog. You are much prettier in person. You're right, it was quite quiet.
swiss: i was actually going to vue bar, but never ended up there..sighs, should have gone there.
Should have gone to Big bamboo, always lot of people there and cold have watched olympics together, ah well..
tonight is my last night, leave early morning tomorrow so i guess i will sleep on the plane, haha.
