My best Shanghai tips just for you!!!
Today I went to the gym, after I went to Yogo Juice (a chain specializing in healthy smoothies and juices), there's one just by my gym in Jinmao building and another one on Wujiang Road. If you order big cup (around 32 rmb, much better value than Starbucks!!!) you get a free boost (I chose Protein boost but there are several others you can choose from).
After that I took the metro to JingAnSi and went to Email Fashion, a place with lots of clothing shops, I bought a light pink handbag 300rmb (Chanel style) and some underwear (they have awesome selection of underwears!!! Hanky Panky kind of style around 20rmb). Then I walked further down Nanjing Xi road (to Yan an direction) and there's a shop there selling REAL Steve Madden and GUESS shoes for 300-400 rmb prices!!! Damn, I've already bought too much shoes here, but maybe I will buy them if you're not ahead of me.
I got told by a friend to never use taxis with women because they can't find their way, yesterday we had a female driver and she couldn't find Bund 3 for us, today I encountered another female driver today and she drove a different way than usual ended up with me getting home about 10 minutes later! DON'T USE FEMALE DRIVERS!

Email fashion is opposite City Plaza in Jingansi.
The shoes are real because they look exactly and feel exactly the same like those in the stores. I'm a quite good observer ;)

As for shoes, it is kinda addiction here in China -- so many beautiful pieces.
But it is shoes paradise only for girls with a little feet.
I was like maniac last year and bought too many (and not my size), so now wearing my flip-flops and only watching my "treasures", but not wearing them :))))
It's not a lesbian sign so much anymore, a lot of people just pose with it =/
For cheaper fashion stuff (both men and women) it is definitely Qipu Road.
artak: totally, but this year I found more shoes in sizes 38.39 and even 40. Me mysefl wear 36 so for me it's easy but most of my friends are alll 38 - 41 and they have actually found shoes :)
