Bad news

Sitting in Coffebean by City Plaza, I have missed you, drinking the best Caramel Ice Blended drink (with no cream of course), anyway I'm sitting here trying to figure out which companies to take contact with, but actually I don't even want to bother. I lost my internship because they just suddenly decided to not take in anymore interns...
To be honest, I don't even need this internship as I have quite a lot of working experience already compared to some other students. But still, I'm staying in Shanghai until August, I love shopping, but I DON'T want to spend my time here in Shanghai shopping or partying.
I'm this girl who needs to have something going on, otherwise I feel hopeless AND worthless. I have two monts...maybe I start my own company or something. Hmmm, let me think...with this ice blended drink.
so funny, three swedes were sitting behind me, there are so many Swedes here that I don't even want to bother to say hi.
Photo: My current view from the apartment, you see cloud 9 building?

I am sure you gain still gain valuable experience in Shanghai without an internship. For example, you can try to set up some informational interviews with big, multinational competitive firms that have offices in Shanghai. Not only will you gain valuable information aboout potential employers, but it will provide you with interview practice. You can see what aspects of your resume/CV impress potential employers and what areas they think you need to strengthen. The interview process plays a huge role in determining your post collegiate employment. You can take this opportunity to become a master at the interview process. just a thought.

I have to admire your positive spin on what is turning out to be a nightmare trip to you.

Better not spend so much now. Get a grip on the real value of RMB. 30RMB milkshakes? A can of Tsing Tao only costs 3RMB, that's 10 Beers!
