What's in my makeup bag?
- Clinique rich eye cream I use in the morning, it loosens up the skin so it won't feel tight and puffy, and your eyes look more energetic. The best money I've ever spent!!!
- Mac black eyeshadow, it's ok I guess? As long as it's black.
- Lancôme black eyeliner, it's good, I also use another one from Clinique and it's quite good as well.
- Nars blush in colour Mata Hari, it's quite good, although Nars has been overhyped and I
think it's slightly overrated.
- Yves Saint Laurent beige shimmering lipgloss, I like the package and the colour, you click on the end of the pen, and the gloss appears from the brush.
- Dior Kiss lipgloss, this one I only use for parties because of the colour, it's good. To be honest I'm not very satisfied with Christian Dior's makeup.
- Make up Store concealer, as I never use foundation I do need concealer to cover up my red spots, this one is good, quite thick and does cover up your blemishes, but Mac has one that is better.

I got to say I adore my Nars eyeshadow, that was some of the best money I ever spent. As for Dior I absolutely love their show mascara, it is amazing. As a moisturizer Clinique is head and shoulders above the rest.
for eye make up, im all about MAC. They specialise in eye make up and compared to other makes they have the best range of colours by far. Im also a big fan of their eyeliner.
For liquid foundation its all about Clinique but if your skin isnt in the best of conditions and needs some serious coverage i would go for a pressed powder by MAC. Even the worst of skin can be saved.
Oily skin needs powder but for most ppl in summer liquid foundation will suffice.
If you have nearing perfect skin then just use a brush and dust your face with some loose powder. it will take away shine and give a even more perfect finish. A dusting of loose powder can be used after applying foundation to make it last longer also.
For bronzer i swear by MAC bronzer in shade Golden. It will do for most skin tones even the lighter ones and has a superb finish to it. *warning* NEVER use bronzer that is too dark for your skin to try and achieve a tan. It just looks cheap.
Apply the bronzer all around your face, under the chin, across the forehead, sweep across the cheeks and nose. I also know many ppl who swear by the Chanel bronzer but MAC is definitely the cheaper option.
For blush again i use MAC. If you are looking for a blush to use every day then choose a shade that is closest to the shade you turn when blushing. (duh)
However if you can afford 3 shades, a red one, a peachy one and a pink one. For all occasions, all seasons and all attire.
MASCARA is a must. if you wear no make up at all just wear mascara. It will widen your eyes and add depth. Ive been a follower of Lancome for mascara for years. However i know by experience that mascara is each to their own. Best way to apply is through the roots. really start it from the roots of your eyelashes almost embed the brush. Then slowly drag it through moving it side to side. Apply a second layer before it dries to avoid clumping.
