American Apparel opening in SHANGHAI!!!!!

The overhyped brand American Apparel is finally opening up stores in China, the stores will open up in Beijing, lovely Shanghai and Suzhou.
I got a press email from the company today in my inbox, so it's a safe source!
I love their tight tshirt-dresses, but I think their clothes are pretty expensive. They are just made of either organic cotton or jersey!!! And they are that expensive...but then again, it's American Apparell. It's a cool brand that has a nice "image". I'm not sure about where in SH they will open up the store, I will try to find out, and tell you guys!
Their collection is mostly the same throughout the years, they focus on simple designed clothes in many different colours.

expensive?!?! i think american apparel is relatively cheap!! a dress for £25 which is of good quality, will last you for time and doesnt go out of fashion!!

they are great for basics and the material and choice of colours they have are perfect for youths. Best thing about them is that individuals can buy them but then customize the high waisted skirt, two tone dress, leggings etc... to match their style.

personally i LOVE American Apparel and do not think that they overcharge. they are good quality goods that are so basic and really stylish in a "ghetto", hip, trendy, way.

American Apparel is really hit-miss. Some of it is stupidly priced considering the quality they use, but overall they are fair. It's made in the USA, they use sustainable fabrics/dyes, it's allll good.

It's cool that they're opening stores in China, but I doubt I'd get American Apparel in China any time soon...

American Apparel is over-priced hipster clothing in wacky colors. Due to their style (or lack thereof), its one of the few brands easily identifiable even when the brand name is plastered over the shirt, which thank god they don't do. Its an over-hyped brand and I have no doubts that it is going to fail in China. Chinese consumers are too brand conscious to pay the premium that AA usually charges. We'll see how well they do, but I find it funny that for once, US made textiles are being imported into China.
