Me an Olympic Torchbearer????
Please VOTE FOR ME!!! I'd really appreciate it :-D
Here was my presentation
I am the perfect representation of the new Chinese generation who is adaptable everywhere in the world. I moved to Sweden when I was 4 years old, I have been back to China several times because I love the country and its culture. When I was ten years old I studied in a local Chinese school for one year, and I can say without doubts that it was the most valuable learning lesson I have ever experienced. I am right now studying business in Stockholm University because I want to be a part of contributing to the growing economy of China's. When I take my master graduation I will definitely be back in China and work there. China is the future, so it is for me.
Wouldn't it be so cool??? What an experience!!!!!!!
I'm a bit afraid though how the Olympic Games in Beijing will turn out. Right now I know that a lot of people want to boycott the Olympic Games if China don't do anything about the situation in Myanmar (Burma). I pray and hope that this will turn out well for the people in Burma. I hope I hope I hope.I think you should wear a red top to show your support! (Whether the colour red is in or out!!)

What a fun weekend

I had a great weekend (no studies at all unfortunately).
On Friday I attended a banquet for our exchange students, 3 course dinner with nice wine (this time not on paper plates) and good dancing tunes later!
On Saturday I went to the Chinese screening of 2 Chinese films, and then later to Lappis Corridor Party, there were soooo many people smacked into 30 square metres. Sooo much fun, met lots of cool international people.
On Sunday we had a big corridor sushi event. Everyone had collected money for the ingredients. We made sooo much sushi, japanese soup, etc. Listening to good music, drinking wine and have good conversations. How much better can it get?

World's Best City: Stockholm Worst: Shanghai
Reader's Digest has compared 72 big cities in the world focusing on environment; air, traffic, greenlands, energy prices, etc.
And no wonder, Beijing and Shanghai was on the bottom of the list.
But we all know if they would have the list of World's Most Exciting City, Shanghai would be on top and Stockholm would be ehhrmmm on the bottom....

I love Shu Qi
I bet that she is the most beautiful human being on Earth!!! I mean, look at her lips and her melodramatic eyes!!!I went to a Chinese screening today of the film Blood Brothers organized by the Chinese Embassy. Shu Qi is in it and oh my god, she is sooo eye-catching. She has replaced Gong Li's place in my heart.
Speaking of goodlooking Chinese people, it is really true that people from Dalian (both men and women) are MUCH more goodlooking than the averiga Chinese.
It's weird, but it's true, how the environment can affect your appearance so much. Just look at the Overseas Chinese people, you can see the difference between a Chinese and an Overseas Chinese and I'm not just talking about the clothes.
I think this is really interesting, will have to study on it more.
I will try to go to Dalian next time I visit China! YAY!

My extremely Shallow life has ended
When I look back on Summer 07, even Fall 06, where I spent my time in Shanghai I think of how shallow and easygoing my life was. What did I do? I went shopping, eating and partying all day long. Seriously, and what became of me? I gained 8 pounds, spent waaaaay too much money and slept too many hours. Now, I am an Senior Buddy to exchange students, writing for the school's business magazine, blogging and photoshopping, studying Micro economics, Chinese and Chinese society knowledge, teaching Chinese (on my first lesson those two girls said I was their all-time favourite teacher) and I have also started to buy more vegetables (great step for me)!
I still love shopping though but right now I have forbidden myself to shop EXCEPT for new winter shoes and winter jacket, and maybe something(s) else....
Can you believe it? I even said no to a party today, and it's Wednesday (best partyday except fridays and saturdays!!!) but next Wednesday I'm going to Cafe Opera! YAY!

Senior Buddy Party
I think everyone ATTENDED besides the Chinese people. We were two Asians (me and a Japanese guy) at the dinner. After the dinner, we had an after-party, ONE Chinese girl came and she is not the stereotypical Chinese girl, she has worked as a model and is really goodlooking and trendy.
And I know that my two exchange students will skipthe Banquet as well.
B O R I N G
<------- I managed to sell this "I'm not a plastic bag" but I kind of regret it, it was perfect to have my heavy course-literature in it.
Time for me to study Micro Economics today >_< (I hate graphs)
Tonight in Shanghai it is the Matt & flo's party AGAIN (3rd year anniversary), I sooo want to be there!!!
(Dong hu Road, next to Dragonfly spa close to Huaihai Road) Probably THE party of the year!!!

A proof of how small the world is
1. A Swedish guy I know in Shanghai, I was browsing through his friends on facebook and see that he knows a guy from my middleschool class in my tiny town in Sweden.
2. A girl in my Chinese class this semester lived for 2 years just opposite my apartment in Shanghai, both times I was in Shanghai (2006 and this summer) she lived there. We both left SH for about 2-3 weeks ago.
3. Met so many people from Stockholm in Shanghai
4. On my flight back to London from Shanghai, the French guy (works for Cafe NEO) who is really good friends with my French friends was on the same plane as me.
5. A guy in my Senior Buddy Group in Stockholm's University has partied with my Swedish friend in Shanghai. He recognized him in my facebook party albums.
I can come up with so many more other stories of these kinds. Come up with yours!

Get rich or die tryin'
ROFL LMAO50 cent is coming to SHANGHAI in November!!!!!!!!!
What I wonder is that HOW on earth did the Chinese government let him to perform but NOT Jay Z last year in October 2006.
I don't think I have ever heard a song with 50 cent NOT mentioning sex, motherf*ckers, drugs, guns or whores.
