age gaps

I remember the day I came home from China, the couples I saw on the airport in Stockholm and France, the woman was much older than the guy. I did react on that, or maybe it is just because I have seen to big age gaps between couples in Shanghai, older men holding hands with younger Chinese girls.

Maybe is it just that Chinese girls are more attracted to older mature guys.

Havent been updating for a while

because still no internet in my dorm, wait about another 10 days.

Am currently reading Philip Kotler's book Marketing Management 12th edition. 700 pages long and I will have a test on the book, we'll see how it goes. Anyone read the book?

On monday evening we will have a rock-party, everyone is dressing up, but Im definitely not going to dress up in an extreme way. Will probably wear my leather jacket, black tights and an oversize red tank top, plus lots of accessories (chain necklaces, etc), I think that should be enough... Keeping it to a rock chic level a la Kate Moss

Stockholm shopping

I love shopping in Stockholm. Because the sales here are awesome, much better than Shanghai. The clothes are nicer and more trendy here, as well as cheaper. Really, this time in Shanghai, I didn't buy much clothes at all (but a lot of shoes)! I hate those small applications on the clothes in China, some annoying pearls sticked to the top, some weird cat on it, etc. If I do find something nice in China they charge like 600 RMb which I find totally unnecessary.
So I bought a black Zara jacket with big buttons (looks more like a cape, very short with big 3/4 arms, A framed), french connection slim fit jeans, some toiletries from H&M, a red heartscale from Hemtex (soo cute).

The Zara jacket kinds of look like the pic, but the arms are more wide and the jacket is more A framed.
The blue top on the pic, I bought this top in Mango in Shanghai.

Basement Jaxx in Shanghai

I can't believe that I'm in Sweden when Felix B from the group Basement Jaxx is playing in Shanghai!!! While I was in Shanghai I actually thought what if Basement Jaxx was playing in Shanghai? Yep, they are, but I'm 10000000000000000000 miles away :´(
I have been literally suffering today knowing that everyone is at Bonbon and really enjoying their evening while I'm sitting in front of a stupid laptop.

Well, on a second thought I shouldn't be complaining, because when I was in Shanghai I had the chance to see some other really famous DJs such as Armin van Buuren, Chris Lake, Kenny Dope, John 00 Flemming, Deep Dish etc.

Tomorrow is packing day, have to pack all essentia things for university. Of course I will also find out everything about the Basement Jaxx show in Shanghai via MSN.

Element Fresh vs. Wagas

I think I'm going through a phase when food is always on my mind, probably because I'm trying to be on a diet while being stuck in Sweden with no things to do.

I have been to Element Fresh (Huai Hai Rd/Xiang Yang Bei Rd) three times, and been to Wagas (Huaihai Rd and the one in Pudong by Nextage) three times as well.

Both Element Fresh and Wagas serve western fresh food like salads, sandwiches etc.

Menu selection: This is hard but I think Element Fresh has a more extensive menu (although Wagas have awesome pasta for only 28RMB after 6pm and really good desserts for only 15RMB)

Smoothies: Element Fresh wins. Totally. But don't choose Tropial storm, it's horrible.

Taste: Wagas wins, everytime I've been to Element Fresh I really can't find anything special with their food, plain taste.

Price: Wagas has some good deals depending on what time you go, Wagas has cheaper alternatives while the prices in Element Fresh are all pretty the same. Be prepared to pay around 60RMB to get full at both places.

Interior: Element Fresh, definitely!!! At least the one on Huaihai Rd. The interior there is pretty awesome, you can sit on the roof when it's not winter, and you get a very nice view.

Service: Awesome in both places, although it took almost 40 minutes for my sandwich in Element Fresh once. I guess Wagas wins.

2 weeks...

Now I have almost been in Sweden for exactly 11 days.....it feels like forever!

The 16th I am going to move from this town to Stockholm for university.

Lots of stuff to do, contact the bank, changing address, fill in paper forms, etc.

Thank god I brought some DVDs and CDs from China that I can entertain myself with here in Sweden. Right now my favourite CD is the one I got from DJ SynRG from the club DKD, his own mixed CD (progressive trance and breakbeat) but also Janet Jackson's Damita Jo is pretty good. The DVDs I have watched so far are American Pie - Naked mile (funny but extremely cheesy), Lovewrecked (silly chick flick), James Bond Casino Royale (very good but I am not a fan of Daniel Craig).
I MISS SHANGHAI!

Brunch Time

I remember this day, I had just arrived in Shanghai for some days, and I was going to meet my cousin's girlfriend. We were all going to have brunch at some hotel restaurant close to Carrefour in Gubei. Can't remember the hotel's name, but it was pretty classy and elegant, 4 star hotel.
We got martinis for brunch, but there were no alcohol in it (I think) :S

Lots of food (mostly western dishes, but also some chinese), and they had a chocolate fountain!!! I have heard about chocolate fountains in the US but have never actually seen one in reality. At the brunch I met my aunt's working collageous with daughters/sons, was fun to meet new people. Of course my aunt has to tell everyone of them how I came home 6 o'clock in the morning on Saturday morning...

However I enjoyed brunch time!
