I hate admit it, but the pics made me laugh.
Nothing wrong with these pics, they're just highlighting some cultural differences between China and the west. People do queue that way and it works fine here and (certainly in Shanghai) people prefer whiter skin than dark, which is why the all carry umbrella's in the hot sun to protect themselves.
