I love Shu Qi
I bet that she is the most beautiful human being on Earth!!! I mean, look at her lips and her melodramatic eyes!!!I went to a Chinese screening today of the film Blood Brothers organized by the Chinese Embassy. Shu Qi is in it and oh my god, she is sooo eye-catching. She has replaced Gong Li's place in my heart.
Speaking of goodlooking Chinese people, it is really true that people from Dalian (both men and women) are MUCH more goodlooking than the averiga Chinese.
It's weird, but it's true, how the environment can affect your appearance so much. Just look at the Overseas Chinese people, you can see the difference between a Chinese and an Overseas Chinese and I'm not just talking about the clothes.
I think this is really interesting, will have to study on it more.
I will try to go to Dalian next time I visit China! YAY!

Really? I don't know if it is a fact tho. Especially the part about over-seas Chinese. However, I do notice with my cousins, all of whom were born in the U.S; their face are all oval shaped, they look more American, if one can really define what looking American means. Reincarnation?
My mother's familly are from Dalian. I have been there many times. Dalian reminds me of San Francisco alot. It's clean. It's next to the sea. It's awesome!
I have some fishermen relatives. I spent two weeks there, just taking it easy, going out to sea to fish. It's a nice life.
Too bad their entire village got bought out by some resort development company. They build a big resort right next to the beach. It's stupid.

For once, I completely agree with you about Shu Qi, although almost all Chinese girls I ask think she's not attractive at all. And absolutely, overseas Chinese look different which is not surprising as they grew up on a different lifestyle and diet. They often have a bit more puppy fat (and I mean that in a nice way).
