Back in Sweden (worst planetrip ever)
I'm back, arrived 2 hours ago. When I'm sitting here, at the same spot, as I did for 2 and a half months ago it feels like I have been in a time machine. Yes, I had fun in Shanghai but I didn't accomplish anything.
The trip back was not a good one, in fact it was quite horrible. The plane hadn't even been flying for 1 hour and it was shaking A LOT. I cried in silence thinking about how my life would end, how I have been wasting my time with lots of unnecessary things, how I haven't achieved a single good thing this year. I felt like throwing up, I have never in my life been so scared I think. The stewardess were running past our seats to sit down because of the turbulence, also someone's glass almost fell because of it. People were silent and watching each other, I could see that people were sweating and the fear in their eyes. I was just one of them.
When my feet landed in Heathrow I felt sooooo good. Then on our way from London to Stockholm it happened again (not as bad as the former one). The plane dropped suddenly and alot of people were screaming. But it happened so rapidly that I didn't even realized it.
I just feel so glad that I'm back home now, and I appreciate life so much. I can't wait to go back to see mum and my stepdad. Bringing them mooncakes, green tea and Hangzhou cakes.

Glad that you got home to Sweden okay. I so enjoy reading your blog, nice to know there will be more to come.
Your fear is understandable, but if you fly as often as I do you will realise it is extremely common and not in any way dangerous except if you are not securely fastened you could knock your head on the roof or be hit by something like a glass. Planes don't crash because of turbulence.
^ actually planes can crash because of turbulence, check wikipedia!
hardly though...
Often when we write comments it's a quick note and not precisely worded so yes, you are correct but let me word it better : it is very very rare that turbulence is the cause of an aircraft. Out of the hundreds of accidents, turbulence has been the cause only a few.
BTW the other anonymous who said "hardly though" was not me.
