I have grown up
Apart from those regular things like go to the fabric market (which I never ended up going) and visit Windows by Jingan District I had really silly things like "Touch a Fendi B bag or Spy Bag in Plaza66" or "wear my pyjamas to Zhongshan Park".
I was past 18 years old when I wrote that which is extremely embarassing!
Thank god I had forgotten this notebook at home so I didn't have it in Shanghai.
Although from this silly "to do list" I would have never thought that me and french people would become really good friends (I always thought french people were stuck up people), that I would pass out in bonbon twice or that I would have a stalker.
Shanghai is simply unpredictable!

Next year, read your old notebook again, and you'll realize you've once again "grown up". People who haven't grown up yet always say they've grown up. Until you stop thinking that way, then you may have reached that point.
white french people are stuckup and soooo cheap! i hate cheap ass stuckup people.
they should all die.
":)" are you serious? I have met many many french people, of different hues, and they have not been stuck up at all, in fact all of them have been warm, lovely people.
I teach for a French family in Shanghai, and it is always a treat to be welcomed into their home. They are all getting the most possible out of their time in China, the mother is learning Chinese painting, calligraphy and language.
It's impossible to generalise about an entire country of people. I'm sorry if you have had bad luck with the French that you have met, but I can assure you that France, like any other country, has a wide range of personalities among it's people.
