Stockholm vs. Shanghai

Today after class I had to take the metro to downtown so I could buy a pair of new cheap headphones (turned out that it wasn't my iPod that got broke but my headphones). So while I was stressed (had to go back to the metrostation before one hour had passed so I can go back home with the same metro ticket, the traffic here is FREAKING EXPENSIVE!!! and I'm a poor student who rather spend my money on ZARA clothes than on metro tickets) I thought, Damn, I just walked rather fast for 5 minutes and I had already done maybe 1/5 of this city's inner downtown area.
Stockholm is Sweden's biggest city, which is a VERY depressing thought. The main shopping street aka Drottninggatan is a walking street just like Nan Jing Walking Street. But the sad thing is that it has not even the 1/5 length of Nan Jing Walking street!! Nor is it as wide, I believe NanJingWalking street is about 7 times wider than Drottninggatan.
However Stockholm can always be proud of that world's second biggest TOPSHOP is going to open on Drottninggatan, because really, there's nothing else to be proud of (or yes, actually there is, we have good cafes here compared to Shanghai, and it's much easier to spot goodlooking boys)

honestly, how can u even compare sthlm to shanghai? its probably the equivalent of comparing and a cat to a lion. Sweden is a small country with a population of less than 10 million, china has 100 times that. makes sense that the street of nan jing is longer and more prominent
