Ziyi's new boyfriend
Ziyi Zhang's new boyfriend Vivi Nevo is apprently 20 years older than her, and is one of the richest men in New York.Personally I just think that more Chinese girls are attracted to older men. My cousin told me that her friends had told her that they want men in their middle thirties when they are in my age.
Personal preference I guess.

Interesting... when Xinhua first posted pictures of him and her about two months ago, I don't think they had the picture of the two of them kissing.
why does dating for the look seem to be ok to you while dating for money does not? both are superficial things. in fact, being rich often implicates hard working and intelligence(not in all cases, I agree--what do you need to do to be hot?

Your post reminds me of a lesson in my Chinese textbook about China's 老夫少妻的现象。When I was in Beijing last summer, I noticed that Bei Shi Da girls all had older boyfriends. I asked some teachers about it and they said that girls usually like to date older guys with money, so the college guys don't get girlfriends---at least, until they're old and have enough money to attract college girls.

Wow, what a great blog ! Well, as far as the question of the difference in age goes..... I just turned 45 and my fiancee recently won the 25 year old prize. She's from Anhui, living with her younger sister and me in Suzhou. trust me, I'm not some slobbering, drunken Laowai who preys on innocent Chinese ladies ! Our relationship was clearly defined months before we started a relationship. Rules : No public kissing, no public hand holding and my salary goes in to her account - but I have her ATM card and credit card. She has the same. We are Not always 'the same' !
