Migrant workers are extremely trendy

Louis Vuitton's It bag this season is for sure inspired by the cool Chinese migrant workers. As Louis Vuitton describes this bag "the ultimate juxtaposition of rich and poor was attained by a handwoven leather version of the familiar cheap checked shopping bag."There are full of those look-alike bags in Shanghai, especially by the Railway station. I'm sooooooooo buying this bag when I arrive in Shanghai! I will ask our ayi if she can help me to get one, or actually I would like two in different colours. I think they might cost 5 kuai a bag? Who knew that Chinese migrant workers were so couture chic? Never judge the book by its cover!!!

That is so sick. You are a real bitch.
?????
Are those your pics? Shouldn't there be a photo credit if you are snagging pictures from other sites (Shanghaiist?). Those guys at least have the courtesy to name the photographer...
For those type of things, it's better to be careful lest you find legal trouble.
Dr A,
Do you understand irony? Do you recognise it? She's joking!
we were really amused when we first saw that bag on the runway... haha~~~
loup garou - somehow I don't think she knows the meaning of irony. Anyway - it's still sick.
.. so she's trying to be funny at the expense of people less fortunate than herself. Not very charitable, is it? Some might even describe her jokes as racist.
Dr A, maybe you are not in Shanghai...if you were you would know that what she said is not racist, merely an observation.
And I think, though I could be wrong, that the point she is making is that the Fashion world, while usually obtuse, can at times seems completely insane, such as when a 5 kwai bag becomes catwalk material! So she's trying to be funny by poking fun at the Fashion World, not the migrant workers who favour this cheap and durable bag.
Maybe you just don't like this blog in general, but I don't think this is a bad post.
